City Chase Charity

Participants of The T-Mobile City Chase presented by BlackBerry Series are used to taking on various mental and physical challenges. City Chasers will also take on the ultimate feel-good challenge of raising funds for charitable organizations.

Charitable organizations will benefit both from exposure and proceeds generated throughout the City Chase Series. It is City Chase’s goal through charitable partnerships to bring as much laughter, adventure, and discovery to the beneficiaries of such charities.

 What we do
Seattle Works offers opportunities for people to serve as active volunteers, informed voters, savvy charitable donors and knowledgeable community leaders. From one-time service projects to board training to dialogues with elected officials, we're here to get you connected.
Why we do it
Our goal is to harness and enhance the energy, creativity and diversity of Seattle's 20- and 30-somethings to build a thriving community.
We believe that providing information, connections and inspiration creates the following results:
- People who volunteer, give, make their voices heard and step up to lead at increased rates
- People whose volunteer efforts and civic actions align with their skills, interest and values
- People who feel like a part of their community

Participants of Chicago’s 2009 City Chase event raised over $30,000 for Special Children’s Charities.

We are in receipt of the $30,000 donation to Special Children's Charities/Special Olympics Chicago. We were thrilled to have been selected as the beneficiary partner of your City Chase event, which was help throughout Chicago on August 25, 2007. This donation will allow us to enhance the programs enjoyed by nearly 5,000 Special Olympics Chicago athletes throughout the year at various Chicago Public schools and Park District facilities. On behalf of our board, our athletes and their families, we once again thank you for the significant difference your generosity will make in the lives of our athletes." Susan Nicholl, Special Children's Charities.
